Kortrijk set to launch inclusive Get Together Judo Tour in 2026

Kortrijk in Belgium will host the opening stop of the Triglav Insurance Get Together Tour, kicking off the 2026 Adapted Judo season in Europe. The official outlines for the event, scheduled for 11–12 April, have now been released so teams can start their planning.

Kortrijk turns Adapted Judo into a main event, not a side story.

This first gathering of the year is designed as more than just a tournament. Judoka of all abilities, alongside coaches and families, are invited to share the tatami in a weekend focused on ability, courage and community. The tour continues the European push to create real chances for Adapted Judo athletes to compete and grow.

Across two days, participants can expect engaging judo sessions, shared experiences and plenty of emotional moments. The focus lies on giving athletes a safe and structured stage to test their skills, celebrate progress and feel the energy of an international setting. For many clubs around Europe, this event will be a key stop in their inclusive judo calendar.

With the outlines now online, teams can organise travel, support staff and training cycles with clear information in hand. That preparation time is crucial, especially for athletes who rely on stable routines and strong support networks. Kortrijk becomes the place where months of hard work from European Adapted Judo programmes finally meet on the mat.

The European Judo Union uses this opening chapter to underline that top-level sport and inclusion belong together. Belgium provides the stage; the athletes bring the real highlight: their presence, their effort and their passion for judo.
